Booking Your Wedding Photographer
Determine Your Needs
So, you are starting to plan your wedding great! This can be a stressful time espcially with all the things you need to figure out. Take a moment to sit down with your significant other and think about what you both are looking for in a photographer. The budget you want to stay within and what other services tou may want.
Get In Touch
Send us a message! In order to better help us determine the best fitting package we will ask you about your ceremony, reception, “getting ready” location and few other details. Haven’t picked a location yet? No problem! All we need is a date.
This part can take the longest.
Before Your Wedding
Secure Your Date
So you’d like to book. Congrats on making a great investment! In order to secure your date we will draft a copy of our contract and send it over for your signature. At this time we will also collect a deposit. All of this is done right online. No stamps required!
4-6 Weeks Prior
It may have been quite some time since since our last check-in email. Thats alright! At this time we are going to send over our easy to use wedding planner. This plan lays out all the information we will need to make your big day a success.
2-3 Weeks Prior
Its crunch time. Typically around now we will schedule a time to get together and chat. You will bring your completed wedding planner to the meeting and any relevant documents. This is the time to make sure everyone is on the same page moving forward.
The Big Day/After
Following The Meeting
Following our meeting we will type up a document we refer to as “the production brief”. It is a comprehensive list of all the information we have collected for your wedding.
Start Of The Day
Normally we like to get to your location a few minutes earlier than the predetermined time. This gives us the chance to make introductions with the wedding party. It also allows time for people to warm up to having cameras around taking their photograph.
Throughout The Day
Its your day! You’re not getting married to have a photo shoot. We are here to document your day as photo journalists. We will work as effectively and effciently as possible to capture life lasting memories for you and your significant other.
The Final Product
After each wedding we end up with 1,000s of images. This can also vary depending on the amount of coverage time and the use of a second shooter. Your images will be immediatly backed up and stored securely. After a lot of coffee and photographer wizardry you should have your final delivered product in 3-4 weeks.
